The 2018 China International Intelligent Industry Expo is jointly sponsored by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the Chinese Academy of Engineering, the Chinese Association of Science and Technology and the Chongqing Municipal People's Government. It will be held in Chongqing International Expo Center from August 23 to 25, 2018.

He pointed out that hosting the Smart China Expo is an important measure to accelerate the development of China's intelligent industry and promote international cooperation in the intelligent industry. Chongqing was chosen as the permanent venue, and the unique location of Chongqing as an important strategic fulcrum for the development of the western region, "the belt and road initiative" and the Yangtze River economic belt, as well as Chongqing's demonstration effect of leading innovation-driven development and promoting economic transformation and upgrading with big data intelligence were emphasized.
